I enjoyed the story. The only question I had was, why in tbe world would Lady Catherine, Anne, and especially the Collins follow Darcy to America. Collins job was with the community church in Hunsford. Other than that, it was a very interesting take.

As someone who’s not a fan of boss-employee romantic relationships, I found the premise of this story keeping me away for a year or two. Now that I have finally taken the plunge, I love this story SO, SO MUCH. Your story strikes the perfect balance between realism and romanticism. The characters feel vivid, and Darcy is as swoon-worthy as he should be. My favorite part, other than when they finally become man and wife, is probably the tipsy Manhattan day they had. It was so much Roman Holiday and so much sentimentality that I melted scene after scene. Thank you for writing and sharing such a wonderful story!

this was a good story. there were some crazy coincidences! and some unbelievable bits... like Lizzy managing to evade molestation from all her owners, and yet they were horrible enough for her to risk running away over and over. did they beat her? or just simply work her too hard? why was running away better than working off her debt and eventually winning her freedom? anyway, when I reminded myself just to accept the author's reality, I enjoyed the story. also, the time period was a bit hard to pin down... and the travel time from netherfield to pemberley was too short... but like I said, just go with it and it's an interesting read.

I don't know how I lost this story but somehow I did. It was wonderful. I find it very hard to believe that you haven't written more stories. You came up with a story that I have never seen before and you did a wonderful job with it. Congratulations on 1) thinking up such a story line and 2) finishing it.
