Wow- what a gorgeous chapter. I can just tell that you are writing from real knowledge of this type of situation. You don't simplify or sugarcoat and I am loving every word! I'm happy to know I made it through the klaine hard times...it was so sad! I can't wait to see where you go with this! Thanks for sharing your beautiful talent!

This whole story was fabulous. It was a frustrating emotional roller coaster, but I loved every minute of it. Keep writing!
Klaineisengaged82 chapter 21 . 1/19/2014
This is an absolutely amazing story. I could not stop reading this. I stayed up until really late at night sometimes to read this. Great Job! :D 3 You should write a sequel or something so we can see how Blaine and his dad are doing.
Amanda chapter 6 . 12/8/2013
I work in Child Protection. And this inside view into the child, ESPECIALLY the teenage child, is breaking my heart. I love all the kids on my caseload but what you've depicted is pretty realistic. And it is breaking my heart.
Guest chapter 8 . 11/5/2013
I like this story... But you honestly make it seem like the place he's stayed at his more important then his boyfriend of several months. -.- I get Blaine needs independence and that the home offers what Kurt can't, but I don't think Blaine would ever give up the opportunity to live with Kurt. I mean... He /just/ met these people. Blaine wouldn't be so willing to trust them, just because they're LGBT teens. Also, I don't think Kurt would forgive him that easily if he /did/ randomly decide, "hey, this place I've been at for a couple of days, seems a lot better then staying at my /boyfriends/ house. Lets destroy everything Kurt's family has worked for." I believe personally that Kurt would be furious, and would probably do what Blaine did. Ignore him, or even still fight for custody. Just my opinion, and honestly, you can't say I'm not 'strong' or a 'realistic' reader. I get that this is realistic and happening everyday, it just doesn't seem to fit the characters at all, /in my opinion/. And I don't believe I saw an ooc warning anywhere. Sorry if I'm wrong. but best of luck to you, and your future stories!
MandyBelleColfer chapter 8 . 8/26/2013
Ive only just started reading this
And just read the start of the note on this page..
No its not too depressing... as you said its reality..
My story is not asbad as blaines...
But its not great either and so many people dont understand... they say they do but they dont...
They could never understand because they have a mother and father that love and adore them...
Like i said my story isnt thatbad but i understand blaine so much and im only on chapter 8
Unlike blaine though i stayed with my family..
Things are better physically but...
The scares that it leves runs deep.
I like how u have written blaines parents..
Its nice to see his father try
Unlike so many other fics
So i just wanted to say thank you
For giving me something that i can relate to rather then the stories that... well are... fantasy..
I just hope there are readers out there with their perfect lives and it makes them realise what wego through...
