this by far is the best description of the inner workings of amy farrah fowler. strong and independent, like sheldon, but completely her own character. the amy i see on tv is a little weird and needy, but its understandable and one of those things you just sort of get used to. id like to see this amy farrah fowler around more! like at the end of 3rd season and the 4th.

shes still my favourite character :)

What a stroke of genius! I so enjoyed Amy's comments to us readers. Thank for pointing out that in the beginning Amy had no interest in anything beyond a platonic connection with Sheldon. It reminded how far her brilliant character has progressed and it gives me hope for Sheldon in the upcoming season, not a whole lot, but hope just the same.

Also, thank you for giving us a little taste of how Amy’s steely cold observations of Sheldon slowly but surely morph as she begins to wax poetic her future boyfriend.

I was loving the rest of your story (I can quite imagine this is the kind of discussion that went on that evening before Sheldon popped out of his room).. but I have to say the last chapter is genius. 'Strawberries and cream' cracked me up and gave me warm fuzzies too. Ah, Amy can surely give Sheldon competition for 'denial, denial, denial' of her feelings. :)

Great chapter, especially all the bits of continuity like "tepid water," Counterfactuals, Amy's body language, etc. Really well done making this a completely believable outtake from the episode. :-)
