This was so incredibly interesting to read! I love Bleach and have purposefully separated myself from the anime because frankly if I hadn't, I would have been consumed by it XD Reading your masterfully crafted piece of work here has now reminded me of that dangerous infatuation I had/have for the characters of Bleach. More specifically, the dynamic between Matsumoto and Hitsugaya.

I didn't stick around long enough for the zanpaktou arc only briefly caught the very beginning of the Arrancar one so reading Matsumoto's thoughts on the zanpaktou situation really piqued my interest! The development of her thoughts on her captain and the inferences she makes about him are explained so well. She has always been a fascinating character for me and it is great to see you go in depth with her powers of observation while still retaining her frequent use of sake and her usually hilarious demeanor.

I seriously love this one-shot to pieces! It was deep, playful and flowed really well. I must now go struggle with my sudden urge to catch up on Bleach at all costs and try to withhold myself XD. Excellent work! I hope you plan to write more again soon!
