That was a very enjoyable read. I'm a bit of a sucker for Starscream and Knockout, friendship or slash, and this was just what I needed right now.

It's about damn time somebody called Megatron out, and I'm glad it was Starscream.

This is an interesting take on what would have happened had the KOxSS friendship-ship been able to take off. Instead, SS had to go off and be by himself...poor mech. I don't think that she deserves to live (Arachnid) and you portrayed that beautifully. Everything that Starscream said when he was yelling at Megatron was all true, and I felt that way exactly; except I just didn't know how to put it into words. So, congratulations on that! And yeah, I think that Starscream should take the promotion like he did. To get back on Megatron's good side, and also to take care of Knock Out; two good reasons that hardly cross this fandom's mind.

Aahhhh... This almost made me cry ;_; Poor Breaky.. Poor Knockout.. Poor Starscream. I loved Starscream's and Knockout's interactions when they still were back at Nemesis.. And, along with this fic, it makes me think they were friends. Starscream coming back just for Knockout is so sweet. Are you going to continue this? 'Cause if you are, I'd love to read it :)
