Wow, nice story! I love Fred and George, and I love hurt/comfort, and I just love all of your HP fics. I know it’s been years since you’ve updated, but at least think about finishing this. I can’t wait to see how it ends!

I have read many stories on , and I have to admit that this story is one of my favourites. And it is not just because of the content (and I do love your plot), but because it is exceedingly well-written, the grammar is brilliant, and you use a wide range of vocabulary to keep the reader interested. However, whilst reading this story, there was one tiny thing that bothered me (though you probably would have addressed his issue later on in your story) and that is that the jury don't seem to notice the harsh glares that the two death-eaters give George, and I think that would almost immediately clue the jury in to the fact that the two men are less than friendly and don't seem to regret the torture. Either the jury have noticed and just haven't mentioned it yet, or they're really inobservant! Despite this I do really enjoy reading your writing (especially one of your other stories 'Once a Weasley', and I look forward to reading more from you. :)

I like your story, I do, but I have a critique to make - which I hope won't be hurtful. You really played up what happened to George. I mean, I was expecting some really gruesome stuff. Pulled fingernails, acid burns, rape, dismemberment (and since they're wizards, maybe a regeneration and continual dismemberment) , teeth pulling, twisting joints out of sockets, etc. What happened to George is terrible, but I feel like everyone is being a bit dramatic about it. The only visible wounds were slashes from the knife and bruising, and George's lawyer said (when passing around the pictures) that they would haunt you. I think it was a little anti-climatic that that's all that happened to George, especially in the case that you've made an emphasis on the Muggle torture bag multiple times. It's a good story, but I think there needed to be more suffering on George's part to equal up to all the racket everyone is making about it.
