This was awesome and I can't believe I've only found it NOW, cripes. Tony's thought process was possibly the best part, which is great because it was the biggest part. And I never thought about how wrecked Tony's suit was, but I really, really liked how the other guys helped him up. It just seems like that would have been in the movie once you do think about it.

TL;DR This was lovely and you should feel loved for it.

I read this once before I saw the film, and then again after. It says something about capturing the characters involved that seeing it added an extra layer of depth, but it stands alone as well.

I am so glad to see you writing again! After I found your CHAOS stories (and prowled through all of them), I kept checking back to see if you'd updated, and was really excited to see you had. And The Avengers, no less! This was a neat little fic; I LOVED the movie, and I like seeing everyone's different takes on what would happen to/with everyone in the aftermath. Your stream of consciousness narration for Tony was great, and accurate, because I have to figure that's how his mind works, always on, always going, jumping from one thing to the next and back.

So basically, thanks for a good read, and I'd love to see more from you, either in the Avengers fandom or others. :)
