Awww so sweet, I can fully imagine Tony and Steve together they compliment each other - Tony makes Steve less serious with his playfullness and Steve bring stability to the chaos that is Tony. They make a great team plus with Tony Steve doesn't need to be the protector or strongest all the time, he can just be Steve just like Tony need not hold his mask up since Steve will see through it.

Just thought I'd point this out. I realize that this story's been here for a while . . . in the last chapter, you wrote that Cap had been frozen for fifty years. In this one, it was seventy. Just thought I'd let you know about the inconsistency.

Easily one of my all time favourite fics, THIS WAS AMAZING! Loved how you described Steve's illness, how Tony was worried to death for his super hero and especially the beginning and the end of the fic.
"But sometimes, just sometimes, it was the other stuff, what came in the aftermath, that was also best part of being a hero…the best part of being alive."

I loved this, because even though we, normal human beings, are not heroes, we also go through our own dramas, and sometimes the aftermath is the best part of it; and I think the reader can relate with that.

A really good fic, can't wait to read more of you! :)
