Very sweet and bitter. I love the story of Feanor and Nerdanel, sad as it is.

*swoon!* I've been horrible about reviewing, but I loved this piece. Feanor's artist's passion is great! And it's far more pleasant to view it separate from his later actions. In truth, I often see him as coping with life through his art. Feanor and Nerdanel are so cute, especially in the way they have perfect images of each other in their minds. It's so very true to love, isn't it? And even Feanor was young once. Your Nerdanel is a very good match for Feanor too, especially seen in such things as "stop, you will destroy it!"

But my favorite quote of all times from this, one that I'll keep with me for probably all of my life, is:

"Inspiration is such a fleeting thing."

"Like hope."

Pure and simple genius, as is often the case when a universal truth is spoken.

This is probably the best story I've ever read! You must write more! Please! It's beautiful!

Feanor IS mad... poor Feanor. poor Nerdanel... poor everybody. I like the different take on Fingolfin.

I don't mind long waits between updates when the results are a gorgeous as this! Your Feanor continues to be captivating, almost a captive of his gifts, both loving and fearful of his own passion. And your Nerdanel matches him well - more controlled, perhaps, but with a fire of her own. Their interactions in this chapter are wonderfully subtle.

I tried to put off reviewing this until I had something intellengent to I still don't have anything intellegent to say. It's such a collection of beautiful images, in a way more a poem than a story. Which seems very appropriate for Feanor.

It seems like they're both crazy, or that she's going crazy to be more like him, and also because it's the way she has to be. I can see why they couldn't stay together in the end. I'm also very much looking forward to the fireworks when they do get together.

There are not many stories that can make me weep. This one can, by its sheer beauty and poetry, that you create not only in the words, but in the images you bring to life.

I would go so far to say that this is perfection.

Heavenly. The scene in the gallery is positively charged with tension. The chemistry between them is palpable. Their characters are illustrated beautifully- Feanor the storm, Nerdanel the shelter. Just breathtaking.

Haunting, mad, you know, I suspected the locking up was for.

Birthing a creation..hmm..it's still quite terrible, and fascinating to behold it in reality..Feanor manifest those anguishes physically..and Nerdanel wanted to watch, I can understand that, though it will be even more interesting to see how she crafts "terrible and fantastic shapes"(paraphrased from HOME 10), and why? Perhaps Feanor has something to do with it.

For a lack of word to describe, I would call it all very "Artsy", the word means differently to everyone of course, but to me, there's a ruthless beauty about art.

My favorite scene is when he found her in the cave..almost otherworldly. And she is presumbaly within her own world, reading a book. He in his, and the storm..

Love the imagery of the storm, commends you on your character of Nerdanel(what will! to face the storm!), am unsettled by your imagery of Feanor(very unsetled), and looking forward to the next chapter.

Love the layers you put into your work, there's always the feeling that something, or rather, everything is seething beneath the events.

And please excuse me if I keep seeing a manga image of Feanor in my head when I read this.

I came across this some time ago actually, but that was when my computer was being evil and wouldn't let me review anything. Grr. Actually it committed suicide last month, and I've got a new one that isn't evil! Yay! Sorry. Rambling.
