| Harmonic Friction chapter 1 . 6/4/2013 Very dark. I knew what I was getting into, and so I liked it. The only criticism I have is that some of the short sentences that end in (...) or else are only two or three words are somewhat choppy. I get that they are being used to create a dramatic tone, but the story really picked up when those short sentences were dropped and the dialogue took off. It was vaguely disgusting, and very creepy. I commend you for that because too many authors tend to romanticize rape scenes and make them loving/delicate. |
