I think that Tim is probably 14 or early 15 because on the young justice website it says that Gar is the youngest. And Tim doesn't look like he can be in his late 15s or be 16 so... That's what I'm guessing

A very good point...finding a way to keep excuses up to explain things to parents would be very hard for those whose parents don't know. Tim should ask Babs, since the Comish doesn't know she's Batgirl! :D My guess is that Tim is around 15-ish in YJ:I...

Couldn't get out of a video game melee soon enough. Books dropped on your head when you were in the library, maybe even the whole shelf." XD

Hmm, excuses? It's Gotham. Seriously, it's probably a rite of passage to run into some trouble like being mugged, have a gun pointed at, etc.

For the record, I think the idea for the story is really creative and an interesting spin on actual comic canon.

I'd just have Tim be all "Seriously. Dad. It's Gotham. What else could I say?"
