I adored this one-shot but noticed that at the beginning you mentioned Nyssa from Running (which I loooooved) and was hoping if there will be a sequel to it... to Running I mean not Family...though its good too, but not as good as Running...no offense..I'm shutting up now.

This movie made me think a lot of your work. Thoughts generally centred on similarities and that I honestly preferred Running to Awakening.

And yet here you are to the rescue again, brining some excellent character interaction to the pile. Thanks for writing this, I really enjoyed it.

I like the atmosphere. Selene's got more years of habit being a fighter than David can understand, and no years of habit being a mother.

This is the first 'fic I've read that deals with a long separation. I've been assuming that Michael and Selene find each other within days, but this makes much more sense.

Eve/S2 seems a little young for talking about romance. Frankly, if David WERE romantically interested in her at this point, I'd be worried.
