Oh, wow, nasty thoughts in my head. Just, if Lucius and Narcissa assumed that Lily would leave for Christmas, and the spell feeds on Lily's energy, then it's not too far a stretch to assume that the spell is feeding on Lily's magic. If we assume that magicals will unconsciously leak magic into the air to try and equalize the environment, which would possibly serve as a part of the basis for the idea of 'pureblood supremacy' and helps explain why we never hear of canon muggleborn returning to the muggle world, then Lily would be leaking magic in the muggle world while the spell keeps her blind. Two major draws on her power, and she's dead before the new year. And Snape gets to watch it all. Well done, two agonies for the price of one. Elegant, very elegant.

Or I'm way off base and should stop speculating. Fantastic story!

I don't know if you know yet or not, but you were meaning to put in something else in the chapter and the note you wrote to yourself is sitting up there for all to see, it's sort of funny when you think about it, but I'd like to read that scene so tell me when you've put it in, yeah? At the end I think you use the word "Um" a little too much, I would consider changing some of them to "Er" instead as it's the British version of the Americanized "Um". I really like this chapter, I hope you update soon, take your time though life is much more important.

Peter is so much fun! I absolutely adore him and your portrayal of him is just how I imagined him. He's always had a little spot in my heart. Can't wait for the next chapter!

I just wanted to drop by and say that one of my favorite things about this story is that Peter is actually likable! So thanks! :)

What I really liked about this story is that you don't buy the normal BS that Lily is a flawless angel who has reasons to act the way she does with some people. It's extremely unrealistic the way some people make it seem like she can do no wrong, that she has motives for her behavior and all. I loved that Sirius called her BS. I'm looking forward to seeing what's coming next.
