Oh my goodness. I loved this.

You spun such a heart wrenching story of silent suffering and no discernible way out.
Oh, Andromeda and Dumbledore just make me so /angry/! Andromeda knows just how to pressure Remus by using his child abuse, but I think that Dumbledore is actually even worse. The way he fluctuates between dismissive and caring, for example by ordering Remus a steak at the Hog's Head is painfully manipulative and extremely toxic.

The most emotional part of it for me, though, is the way Remus has just given up. His internalisation of the structures, and how he doesn't stand up for himself, not even to the Order Members who aren't his master. It just makes the whole situation even more sad.

I also enjoyed your style of ending chapters sort of in the middle of the action. It puts the reader's mind at work, wondering what happens off camera. I also really like your take on Kreacher, and all of your world building and OCs.

Do you have any plans of continuing this story? I'm itching to find out if anything is ever done about the Amortentia (honestly, don't ever tell your magically bound slave to never mention something again. Has he read no slave fics? xD), what our favourite reporter is up to, and if Harry will ever bloody man up and take more responsibility for Remus.

I'm really enjoying this fic, and I don;t know if you'd be interesting in learning this, but since you've chosen to tackle such a controversial topic so wonderfully through fiction, I thought I should let you know.

You regularly misuse racism and prejudice. In chapter 5, I think, you stated that nonhumans were often racist towards wizards. this is impossible, because they are a marginalized group. They do not have the clout of privilege to enforce their prejudice. Then, in a later chapter, you state that wizards were prejudiced. this is true. wizards can also be racist, because they have privilege. so, nonhumans can be prejudiced but not racist because no privilege. wizardkind can be prejudiced and racist.

Other than that, I love this story. I'm enjoying it immensely. I feel that its about to fall into weasly-bashing, which is a shame because i like ron, but im enjoying it far too much to stop! Intriguing!
