Just re-read this story and can't believe that you would consider any part of this a "fail." Gah! We writers are so hard on ourselves. (sigh) This is just so lovely.

So fun to read this from both Besany and Ordo's point of view. Their mutual embarassment felt so real and poignant and was so easy to identify with... there is something about your writing that is just so genuine. Your characters are fallible, and not afraid to admit it in their inner dialogues. Ordo's thoughts on the pain of war and his fallen brothers and why he needs Besany so much were just perfect.

This is an excellent piece. Nothing mediocre about this one.

This was beautiful. Just a little moment that helped make these characters so much more human and bring them both to life. The image of Besany wearing Ordo's shirt & trying to cover herself while blushing furiously was too cute. I appreciate having the story from both sides, it was really great.

Ok, this was amazing, and really cute. I love the idea of both of them having something that smells like their love... yeah. cute. Have you started the story after this one? I'm looking forward to it.

This was again sweet to a degree and a little sad that he considered she might be cheating on him - and that he wouldn't blame her if she did - though I did kind of go "Gah! Yes!" when he thought about the wall scenario and then "Aww... doh!" when he discarded it lol!

Ordo is such a sweetie. It's so touching to see just how hard it is for him to be away from her, to see what she means to him and how he's learned to cope. She's his safety net against the dark; his security blanket. So adorable them being so awkwardly in love and admitting it - and then, naturally, having to show it! Fantastic! As good as the first pat :D

I totally felt for her in this fic. When I have t be away from my husband for any length of time, I have something of his too. You handled this perfectly. I was feeling so sorry for her, watching her despair and be lonely and then she found his shirt and started feeling better and dancing around and listening to music... and I can -so- see myself in that girl *laughs*

The awkward way he walked in on her was funny, especially since with it Ordo's palpable amusement; something tells me he won't be taking his shirt back *laughs*

All together now...

Awwwwwwwwwwww - until the ending where it was all fire and passion and nummy! Woot! Countertop ficlet! Yes!

Finally getting a second to review!

Far from being a failure...I'm glad that we got to see this moment from Ordo's POV. (Seriously, I could read this stuff all day long. :P)

Great job with him; he's very "alpha" and masculine, while at the same time he's a kid at heart. Loved how his very first fear was that she had *another* man around - as if she would! - and he can't help but feel a bit possessive of her. The "kid" in him, however, craves the simple closeness he has with Bes, because it's comforting, and because he cared for her. "He felt her heartbeat so close to his that he swore they were beating the same rhythm. It felt good. It reminded him of being pressed back-to-back with his vode, calming himself before an op, before the shooting started."

"He was no good at being in love." Awww...I doubt that very much. :D But it was a wonderful illustration of how inexperienced the clones are with emotionally heavier aspects of life.

Just loved this! It had just the right mix of angst, fluff, silliness and romance: the perfect storm, really. :D

I love how connected she and Ordo are, without even realizing it, she with her Ordo-shirt, he with his Besany-scarf. Loved how just having that little bit of Ordo close to her allowed Bes to let go a little and enjoy herself, not letting herself worry *too* much about him. Dancing in her underwear around her apartment! Love! If this was a movie, it'd definitely be a montage moment. :P

Her awkwardness when he returned was adorable - no, Bes, I don't think Ordo thinks you look silly in his shirt and little else. Probably quite the opposite. ;) The moment when he said that he'd tried to call her was lovely - a wee touch of angst, as I imagine he was pretty worried about *her* for once - and the romance that followed...sigh. Very nice! :D They're so cute together, each getting all flustered and kind of embarrassed...

This was so sweet - finding the shirt, just simply feeling him closer - dancing around the apartment with the music too loud until Ordo himself just walks in. Such an ordinary moment, amid a lot of extraordinary happenings - both in canon and in 'Reasons'. And Ordo's confession was just so sweet. Not a straight out 'I love you' but more an acknowledgement of what they both know is already there. Just lovely.
