Ohh, this was so bitter-sweet! But I love that you gave them an optimistic ending. I really love your story! It's my second time reading it - I always reread the stories I like - and it somehow feels much happier than the first time around. On my 1st read I found the way things ended kinda sad, but now that I read it again I see that it actually didn't "end", that the Epilogue put am optimistic note on it! So their love still continued? After the "break-up" in the last chapter, how did they get back together? And what does their future reserve for them? Will they stay together? How have you imagined their story continuing from the epilogue?

I know that's a lot of questions, but I loved your story so much, it made me crave for more! Thanks for writing and posting this! I'm a big sucker for jealous and possessive Axl, who has a hard time admiting to his feelings, and your story was spot on! I'm sure I'll reread it many time more!

I have so many emotions right now. So heartbreaking and beautiful - you are an amazing writer. I absolutely adored this story. It was romantic and atmospheric while still being in character and not dismissing reality. Absolutely loved it.

I have to stop here and review before I finish this because I love the opening lines on this chapter. So lovely. I also am really enjoying the slow burn here - this is one of the best Saxl stories I've read so far.

You finished it! That's amazing. Your dedication amazes me. Kudos for seeing this story through, and I'm so glad you did because it's sooooo good. And it's so great that there's a multi chapter and quality Axl/Sue fic in the archives. Axl showing at the dance in costume so that no one could see who he was was brilliant. And Sue trying to be sexy when they were at the hotel, and Axl having all of those last minute second thoughts, and Sue feeling like they needed to tell their parents. All so wonderfully in character. The epilogue was beautiful. My babies. Great work!
