That was absolutely amazing. I mean, fan-frakking-tastic. Wow. I think I got goose-bumps, which is really saying something considering the fact that it's about ninety degrees right now and I'm sweating to death.

Only question: Was there some kind of transition in the beginning that I missed? Because it seemed to start out with Eleven in Time of the Angels but then it was Ten and then the rest went in chronological order and I just got really confused.

But besides that, well... Yowzah.

I loved this one-shot not only because I love River/Eleven, but because you captured how much they loved each other. Even though things were wibbley-wobbly, it didn't matter because they loved each other so much. This was a beautiful story and I look forward to reading more of your work. :)

Late to the party but just wanted to thank you for sharing this - poor Doctor running from more hurt, not realising that the salve was in front of him. I *love* the Galaxy called Alison being because he was with River.

Every time I start to read one of your stories, I get the slightest bit unwilling. Because I sit here and tell myself, "It's another River/Doctor, and I don't ship that, and it's bound to be beautifully written but I just won't favorite it." Yet in the end, all but once or twice, I just do favorite it. During the few minutes it takes to read one of these, I turn into a Doctor/River shipper. And I know I'm never going to be satisfied with Series 7 because in my heart I won't think it's nearly as good as your fanfiction.

I love the bit where he asks her if he's a soldier or a doctor and she says doctor. Wow this was brilliant! Just brilliant!
