I'm very glad I stumbled upon this story! I loved Harry in it (I always liked the fact that despite being young and a bit gullible at times, he would always deliver when he was really needed) - how careful he was cutting her hair and his observations about the command team at the end. Great addition to the episode!

Reading another one of your stories led me here and I have to say, you are a very skilled writer. This a very interesting piece, warm and soft in all the right ways. I love episode editions like this. Well done. Write on.

This was wonderful. Poor Harry doesn't get as much attention as he should in the world of FFN, and even less in the department of the captain/ensign relationship. I really liked this. And of course the J/C through Harry's eyes at the end brought a smile to my face, even if I'm not their #1 fan. Well done!

Sometimes you can encompass such richness in one tiny detail. You wove so much meaning into and around the simple act of cutting Kathryn's hair.

If I had not seen the episode, I would still understand the food situation facing the crew just from your wonderfully descriptive line about the food being scrounged from 'the bowels of the planet's ecosystem'.

Finally, thank you for taking a moment to remember Hogan.

Very nicely done - excellent visuals, too. We don't very often get Harry's perspective on things, and this was totally in character. I move for a sequel.

This is a really nice expansion on a little moment in the show. We even get a little glimpse of J/C through Harry's eyes. :) I particularly liked the line about how there would be something in all of their eyes that would cause someone concern if they looked hard enough. It's a nice little insight to how the crew is haunted by their predicament.
