I first read this a few years ago, and i still love it. Honestly, I think it’s one of the best and underrated gifs I’ve read, so thank you for sharing it with us!

I have to say this is one of the best next gen and even fics I've ever read - such well developed characters and a brilliant story. Absolutely loved it and can't wait to check out the sequel!

I confess I started this fic really hoping to see James and Brie together but its not what happens :/ bummer

how this isn't above 2-3k reviews at least is beyond me... this story is fantastic and extremely intelligent. I hope you continue the sequel and quench our thirsts of what is to be between James and Carlotta! :)

i’ve been reading this so far and i’ve tried not to review until the end but i just.. what keeps me hooked is that i’m very interested in this new world you’ve concocted with james and his friends and family. his life feels very labelled and messy but substantially sane (i especially enjoyed the unravelling of lily being a squib), and although i can see where everything is supposed to go “off the rails” with carlotta finding out about wizards, so far nothing really seems to be truly insane or off-kilter and i’m waiting for it to all crash down around him, as terrible as that sounds

as i read i just really, really hope james’s destain for harry is resolved in the future chapters because i go through each one hoping their relationship gets patched up and i nearly tear up when it gets to that level of james going “i hate dad” and harry going “I’m disappointed in my son” like UGH

anyway, i look forward to see how this all ties in
