I think this is quite beautiful. The feel of the words as I read along until the end practically had me seeing orange everywhere. It's like I could literally see the tone of the color softening as time passed by.

And that last bit was so good!

It amazes me how something so short can pack so much imagery. Job well done :D

Lexi, this is beautiful. Yes, it's a bit short, but if you had stretched it longer it would have felt unnatural. I love the use of color and the second person perspective.
