REALLY good here, with Dean trying to come to grips with Emma and Sam fighting against Lucifer, and being hurt by the toss into the door. PLUS the idea of Dean not wanting to live anymore - I like your sentence - he was Sam's stone, and his stone was sinking. Also liked the way it was pointed out that Emma was Dean's daughter, but she was also Sam's niece. Glad Dean could get back to his stone number one - take care of Sammy. Because the amount of crap rolling downhill was trying to make him forget.

What a heartrending addition to the story... The realization that Emma was Dean's child, whatever else she was, Dean's despair, and Lucifer-accentuated physical and emotional misery for Sam - it was killer. Dean tenderly returning to caring for Sam at the end just about killed me.

Just found you through a FB SPN Fanfic Group. *sniff* OMG Poor boys!

Yeah Dean has really been dropping the big brother ball for a while. I get that he's under mountains of stress and I'm sorry about that. I wish that at least untill things calm down a little Dean can take a break but you know what they say about wishes. Sam need's a break too. .He's needed one for a while. Now he's slowly unraveling right in front of Dean and and Dean has been so oblivious lately he hasn't even noticed. Now the other shoe's about to drop and by the time Dean's on board to help his little brother it will have been too late. The crazy train has left the station. Dean can't put the toothpaste back in the tube. I feel so bad for both boys. It make's me sad. I've been tearing up a lot lately at the show. The boy's are so pitiful. They're broken. What a fantastic job you did on this.

What a GREAT wrap-up to an ep that I wasn't particularly crazy about (although that brief bedroom scene was pretty darned hot!) I enjoyed this almost as much as the ep itself. (I always felt a little gypped with the brevity of Sam's solo encounter - I know this was mostly Dean's story, but I would have liked to have seen him get a LITTLE more beat up, LOL! (It's a sickness, I know!) Seeing the aftermath in your epilog here was great, and it DID give a little closure to the story before picking up with Plucky's where Dean seems to have come to grips with what happened

I LOVED his realization that the man Sam had become was the child that he had essentially raised. (No wonder their relationship is SO crazily intertwined.)
