Ah, this is lovely. I think that one of the most enjoyable parts of Ghost Hunt is that the show encourages different kinds of situational drama (on cases, in the office, etc) with ease. While I enjoy case stories, I somehow almost prefer the ones in the office where domesticity and routine can really showcase characterization: which you do so well. The details of the tea, of the kind of pastry consumption Lin and Naru have, little exchanges, etc illustrates their personalities better than 30,000 words in a haunted mansion.

What I mean to say is that you get it exactly right, and I love it, and hope that you are encouraged to write more.
