So it's been four years and there's still no update. Please consider coming back to this, it's amazing so far and I'd personally love to read more!

Nice descriptions at the beginning. Makes me curious about the tone since you label this romance ahead of sci-fi and you have a lot of grisly grit.

As sole survivor, Jacob Heinwitz, you stretched his credibility as sole survivor a bit for a Marine. As Spartan, of course. As ODST, maybe. But it was suspended disbelief that he took out that much.

How did he know it was a she so soon? Leg exposure isn't even as glaring unless genitalia is there, even then sangheili have different anatomy. Well if conditioned enough, he'd fine them beautiful for some time after the fact not immediately.

I would have preferred that it wasn't so sporadic on his feelings, obviously she was still all instinct and no shit. But I figure that would set for some interesting chemistry. Like this guy is deliberately going full steam ahead to challenge this obviously attractive elite by her wits.

If you want to plunge right in and declare the direction this story will take, then by all means. I would lie if I said I didn't want things to commence sooner by how deprived these kinds of couples are.

So please do continue. I want more, please.
