| BreathingMagic chapter 1 . 2/9/2015 *Shatter* You hear that? Yeah, necermind, that's just my heart... But honestly? This would have made a lot more sense destinywise. Merlin made Arthur the man and great king that he was and with his, it would have been thabks to Merlin that he finally would have brought magic back and unite the land of Albion, like we were led to believe was his destiny from the very first episode onwards. I don't think they ever said anything about Arthur dying before he even considered changing the law about magic, and that's certainly not the outcome Merlin basically gave his life for to achieve. So yes, this fic made a lot of sense, heartbreaking and beautiful as it was. It wouldn't have ruined my Christmas eve any less though, to see my beloved warlock die... However, brilliant piece of work and thank you for sharing! |
