My heart breaks for Sesshomaru and his lonely life. This short story flows so beautifully to a happy end, where both Kagome and Inuyasha's have persisted until they worked their way into his life.

What I liked about this is that while sweet with its message, there was still an edge of darkness presented from Sesshoumaru's side. To me, details like that make a story better (but all of your stories are gold, so this is no surprise). Great story, really. :)

Oh my! Sesshomaru's father was a butthead in this story. Made me teary when I thought of Sesshomaru struggling through life alone, until Inuyasha stepped in. Thank god. Lol.
