This was one of the best Simon/Izzy stories ever. Simon is my favorite character in the series, and you juts captured him perfectly. Izzy, too. Amazing job.

I'm speechless, and still a little breathless, too, so if this review is incoherent, it's truly your fault. The part that really slammed into me? ' "How long does it take to stop loving someone?" she asks. He slides his sleeve over his wrist and doesn't answer.' I loved all the later/future parts that carried all those subtle hints to Isabelle without actually naming her.

All in all, this was simply miraculous.

SimonIzzy is always amazing, and I think you capture them perfectly. The tattoo part made a lot of sense, and just. . . you captured them.

I have to admit that I was a bit confused by the times; at first, I thought that both plots(?) were taking place at the same time.

I have to admit, I'm really curious about Iris. She's the kind of OC that you just /want/ to know their life story, and you really sealed that in place with this:

"My mum, she..." Iris trails off, biting her lip. "I'm hungry," she says finally.

My absolute favorite part was this, however:

"In answer to your question, I've been a vampire for almost two hundred years," he says. "I've met a couple of people, angels included. Now, good morning, don't let the vampires bite."]

Just. . . alskgjklasdjglasdjkl. So amazing.

Anyway.

The bit with Magnus was amazing; /did you really expect me to stay?/

I have no words, other than "this is fucking perfect."

How do you do this? XD

So, this was gorgeous! I just, I really loved it. I loved the parts with Iris and how Simon was two hundred years old. Honestly, even though Isabelle was dead in them, they were my favorite. I loved how he saw ghosts, everywhere that he went, and that he went to go see Magnus occasionally. I just loved that.

In that same vein I really liked how he was the head of the vampires now instead of Raphael. That was probably my favorite detail.

And the TATTOOS. I freaking LOVED how you came back to that. When he glances at his wrists and doesn't answer? Just unf. Beautiful. Absolutely beautiful. I think that sentence was my favorite part, actually. Scratch what I said before.

But yes, this was lovely and I adored it immensely.

This is so beautiful. It really is, I love how you incorporated the future (although, to be honest, it would've been cool if there had been more description about how much the world had changed) as well as the IsabelleXSimon relationship. AND MAGNUS. You really stuck with his character, well done.

The tattoo thing was so awesome. It was a lovely idea, and you worked it. I also loved how it reappeared later on in the story. I think my headcanon!Izzy will now forever have a sun on her wrist. XD

I really hope this wins the Oneshot Challenge. It truly deserves first place. So beautiful.

I want to say more, but I'm typing this on my cellphone. Asdfghjkl. JUST KNOW I LOVE IT, OKAY? LIKE, A LOT.
