I love this story!

Lisbon's memory palace being her grandfather's cupboard just seems so right for her. I really like the description of the cupboard itself - her family and her team on display, her childhood and adolescence hidden in drawers, and the secret compartments (I'd love to see the contents of the college one :P). And the most secret drawer, the one that only she knows, being filled by Jane, is perfect.

I love all the different things in the drawer, too - especially the cupcakes, for some reason; the whole scene is just so sweet. The notebook is a great idea, too. And Jane showing up when she was panicking about James... (there's a 'Lsibon' in the first line of that section, btw... and whenever there's a word in italics the space between it and the preceding word is missing, though I expect that's a site formatting issue).

"And she's not sure it's even worth pretending she doesn't know why anymore" I really like this line :)

I absolutely love that Jane has a real secret drawer that's just like her imaginary one! It's perfect how they both treasure so many of the same memories. And that ending... I'm off to read the sequel right now.

I loved their cherished pretty much the same memories about each other. Suddenly I want a furniture just like Lisbon envisioned it.

There were a million things that made me smile on this fic. I love when that happens... And the ending just made it sweeter. I think I'll try to sleep again now, but will do so now with a smile on my face :)

Argh, how did I miss this? It was completely gorgeous! I love the huge cupboard idea, and I think it's perfect for a memory palace. Amazing imagery and warmth for and between the characters. Really stunning; I'm so glad I read it.
