MayukoSon chapter 1 . 3/6/2013 I know this is super late but I loved this story! And I must thank you for directing me to that beautiful entry from Barney's Blog. :) I'm a new fan (got caught up during the break between season 7 and 8) so I missed a lot of blog entries. Anyway, I'm really enjoying your stories, especially Catching the Clock! P.S. I love reading your comments on the barneyrobin LJ community! :D |
Anonymous chapter 1 . 4/21/2012 Awww, this is so sweet! The last line broke my heart a little, but in a good way. And he really wrote that letter? That's just...perfect. |

SpecialBookworm-394 chapter 1 . 12/29/2011 loved it |
Phosphorescent chapter 1 . 12/26/2011 It's beyond me how this wonderful fic doesn't have more reviews. It's in-character, heartwarming in a bittersweet way, and utterly adorable. Of course Barney would try to help Robin achieve her dreams, Olympic or otherwise. I particularly like Barney and Robin's conversations about pole-vaulting and about babies vs. dogs. I also really love Barney's comment about bottled feelings leading to bad things "like Share Bears and smashed TVs". And I adore that Barney wore his Canadian gloves all winter. Thanks for sharing this with us! |
Esmeralda2134 chapter 1 . 12/16/2011 God I love, love love this story. It's just amazing, nothing more to say. |
Brandy chapter 1 . 12/15/2011 Wow, this gave me the warm fuzzies. This was seriously so sweet and completely in-character. I loved that they both bought each other gifts, and that Barney wanted to get her a puppy, and Barney taking Robin to pole vault in Central Park, and both of them having all these little moments where they want to say something to each other, or kiss, or whatever, but they just can't bring themselves to do it. Perfection! |
