1. The thing that I liked most about the story was that I couldn't predict what would happen next (for the most part). I'm thankful to have read this this from start to finish as a complete story; that way, I didn't have to wait for the next chapter because I was dying to know what happened next at the end of every chapter. 2. The story entertained me from start to finish. There were major, incredibly diverse sections of it that it's hard to believe could be strung together in a cohesive story: Arnold and Helga on webcam, Helga on the trip, Helga visiting Arnold, Helga and Arnold trying to survive in the jungle, Arnold becoming a prisoner, adding Miles to the group, the climax, and the ending... they were all interesting and beautiful in their own way. I think the biggest epiphany I had was that Helga and Arnold have different love languages: Helga is a words of affirmation person, and Arnold is an acts of service person. It makes sense that Helga NEEDS to hear him say the words of how he feels about her. 3. I love your other fics. I have read The Cure (LOVED) and am reading Helga Unbound (LOVE). You are very talented. I'm impressed that you wrote a jungle adventure fic, something I don't think I could have done well, but you nailed it beautifully. 4. Other opinions about Spanish 2: it was really cool how hidden you made the new city of the Green Eyes. It took a lot of know-how from the characters to get them that far. 5. I read your fic after seeing the real TJM. I loved TJM, but it wasn't perfect. I would've been perfectly content if your fic was the real TJM, lol. In yours, Helga and Arnold grew more as a couple, and we got to see Arnold's feelings of love blossom for Helga. Yours was darker: Arnold getting beat up, imagining Arnold's parents away from each other for 17 years, Miles being a prisoner for 17 years, and Taki dying took yours to a more intense level. The Green Eyes were much more "hidden" in yours, which I felt was more believable than TJM. I also felt like yours was more realistic than TJM; I didn't like Abner's story arc in TJM, nor the fact that adults could be in a coma without medical intervention for 10 years. Sure, in yours, Arnold gets stabbed and Taki gets the wound, but for some reason, the whimsy of a Green Eyes legend seems more believable than the previously mentioned TJM facets. I still loved TJM though, and compared to yours, I liked the following differences about TJM. The kids were younger in TJM. I know you love teenage Shortaki, and so do I, but it kills me to know that Arnold and Helga had all those wasted years in middle and high school where they weren't together. In TJM, I take comfort in knowing that Helga didn't live with her secret unrequited love for Arnold for so long. I also liked that the other characters were more involved in TJM, especially Gerald. I like that Gerald was there right alongside Arnold and Helga in TJM. I also like the future possible stories to tell after TJM (Season 6, which will hopefully come to fruition). Stella and Miles won't be as traumatized in TJM as they would have been in yours. Arnold and Helga also have a lot more teenage awkwardness to work out (as seen in Helga Unbound). So yeah. I loved both. Thank you for this story, and your continued work in HA! fanfic!

I loved this fanfic to the point I would write and read fanfics based off this one lol. Your writing is beautiful and I'm glad I stopped to binge read this. My favorite part of this story is how much thought you put into it. You thought of every little detail and that's what kept me wanting more, I NEEDED to know what happened next. I was so absorbed in your World, it was beautiful to run alongside your versions of Arnold and Helga.

Just finished reading, such great writing i binge read which is gonna make work fun in the morning. I like the idea of the jungle movie when they are older, i've seen the movie and i enjoyed it but i've read a few fan fics that i think would have actually been better. I've read few your stories keep it up :)

Wow it took a while to read everything but I'm finally finished and I got to say...great story, I love it! I kept putting off reading it because I thought it was gonna be lame or not as good as the hype it's been getting it no it's been better than what people been recommending it saying about it.

Answers to your questions

1. I love most about this story that it is an amazing mix between adventure and romance. It has alot of great twists and turns and long chapters and adventures to keep you entertained while a splash of romance to keep the shipper satisfied. My favorite parts were when they literally sitting in the tree k-i-s-s-i-n-g and he knew about her feelings ALL along and heard her over the webcam, that was one hell of a surprise, I also love the emotional part when he found out his father.

2. The story kept me entertained throughout, there was just so much happening from Arnold going to chatting on webcams, from jumping off waterfalls to sneaking into camps then hunting around in a cave! Wow just an adventure. Almost makes me sad that it is over. What really annoyed me though the whole thing was how Helga was so desperate to label her relationship with Arnold when it's kinda obvious some things don't have to be said with words. It also annoyed me that Arnold wanted her to be upfront with feelings yet continue to refuse to straightforward with his, just frustrating in the least.

3. I already read a fanfic of yours before and I think it was the second Hey Arnold fanfic I ever read and I loved it. Don't think I ever finished reading it though. It was something with fire escape. I will continue to read more of your work though, especially after this masterpiece you put so much work into. It shows.

2 on the whole is Ana amazing story and I didn't know it would take me all around on a whole. Spanish 2 as a subject...never really care for it much I was always so bad at Spanish lol.

5 and 6. Thus story lived up to expectations and some. I honestly never expected so much. Every made sense and Arnold and Helga were so in character as were his parents and the tribes and the descriptions of places and the people. You did a wonderful job on this story. In fact my expectations from this story is so high I'm disappointed that Helga and Arnold won't be the only ones travelling to find his parents in the real movie. I also kind afraid that when TJM comes out, it won't be as amazing as this story cause this story was a wonderful adventure and unfortunately set my expectations for the real thing way too high.

BONUS: Whenever I get around to finally watch TJM I will PM you to tell you if you raise my expectations too high and the movie didn't measure up or equally amazing. Thank you for such a wonderful story. I love so much.

Where do I even start! I love the whole story there were so many twists and turns That Couldn't predict that kept me wanting to read more! Your way of writing was great because it kept the characters and their saying mannerisms things they did on the show he kept that and it made it feel like I was actually reading a script to a TV show or movie. I thought that this version of the Jungle movie was better than the version that came out a month ago I thought it was way better worlds apart from what came out it was so good. I've never been drawn into a fanfiction like this one before but I love your other works as well exclamation point please keep writing! Different stories different events different scenarios they're all great so far and I love them! I would love to see an add-on to the store even if it was like a one shot to see how it goes into the future. But thank you for writing this I will read it again!

Hi! I usually not doing reviews because well ... I dont feel like anyone really cares about it. People only wanted to heard that it was amazing and that's it. It doesnt really matters but I felt like doing this time cuz I really like this so ... its my first time doing and ... well ... first of all I've to say that I love your TMJ. Hmmm .. the only thing I didnt like about this story is how ""childish"" Helga is for a 18 years girl. They could be 14/15 easily. Dont get me wrong you're a really good writer and I dont wanna be rude or anything its just the way you see Helga its a little bit different from the way I see her (not too much). Thats all. Its totally personal and doesnt make your story bad (not at all). I see her more like a independently young woman, that speaks multiple languages, maybe sing maybe dance (creative) without losing her sassy attitude (funny, badass, impulsive, etc) but never a cheerleader (thats I totally agree with you). She's most of this here ... so dont get me wrong. I think its a little bit unfair with her to stay alone while Arnold is dating and living his life for so many years. I'm not telling you to change anything about your story or the way you see her. It's totally normal for fans to look at the characters in a different way. Its just my opinion, and I'm not even a good writer (my stories are totally crazy and no sense) and you're just amazing. :)

Loved loved loved couldn't stop reading

I've been nostalgic since I saw the trailer for the new Hey Arnold movie and stumbled upon this story. EXCELLENT writing, EXCELLENT story, EXCELLENT character development... it's truly one of the best Hey Arnold fanfics I've ever read. I loved this SO much! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Acabo de terminar de leerlo (la versión traducida) y simplemente me encantó, lo amé, diría que este fic refleja todas las expectativas que tenía, mantiene fiel las personalidades de los personajes (leí muchos fics que no lo hacen y no tiene gracia, es como ponerles otro nombre directamente porque no son ellos). Desde principio a fin me atrapó, cada capítulo me dejaba ansiosa por el siguiente, me emocioné, me enojé, fui feliz, casi lloró (creo que lo soporté bastante bien) en más de una parte, después de cada capítulo terminaba suspirando por horas jajaja, mi novio se divertía por mis reacciones cada vez que leía. Tristemente soy muy mala para inglés, asique me pierdo de todos tus trabajos, sería genial que alguien los tradujera porque seguro los amaria tanto como este, tenés una forma de escribir que atrapa, te hace imaginar y sentir. Únicamente se me hizo denso sobre el final y estaba masomenos como Helga con el pensamiento "Oh, dios, que aburrida graduación" hasta que apareció Arnold y casi grito (y yo terminando el fic a las 2 am cuando todos duermen) me tape la boca para no hacerlo pero salte de la silla igual jajaja, después el final fue perfecto... me encanta como me hiciste vibrar de emociones.
