Oh yes oh YES. I love Uriel, I love his relationship with Cas, I love the Biblical flashbacks, and I might even love you for writing this, for there's far too little of this kind of goodness in this fandom.

Huh. This is actually one of the best stories I've read in a few years, fan fiction or not. Totally was not expecting that with the low number of reviews... Hidden gem, I suppose.

You have given amazing insight into Uriels way of thinking. I feel very sorry for him now, and wish hed have at least tried to voice his affections towards Castiel. Now nobody will ever know about his feelings...

it's like xover with Bible (yeah I know how strange that sound). Also fic made me kinda sad, poor Cas never had any luck with his "boyfriends": Uriel, Dean, later Crowley. I mean all a grade a assholes and all make his life difficult.

This was a great read! You actually made Uriel a bit more sympathetic. I wish the TV show could have given his character and relationship with Castiel the same depth you gave him here. I am only disappointed that you ended this when you did. I'd love to have seen the emotions going through Uriel as he finally comes to the conclusion that he has to kill Castiel.

This is such a beautiful and tragic take on a character that we see so little of in canon. I love the way that you portray Uriel. The parallels you draw between what he did with Lucifer for Cas and what Cas did with Crowley for Dean are especially chilling. AMAZING story. Really interesting perspective on Cas.

I was kind of hoping I would see why he finally decided to try to kill Castiel.

This is just mesmerising and beautifully written, I'm totally hooked. I love how you have made me care for Uriel and understand his motivations. And the idea that Uriel turned to Lucifer because of his love for Castiel is inspired.
