As many others I think of men coming home to wives and children, I never thought of it the other way around. Your Edward and Bella have what is known as true love. To be absent from your husband or wife for three years while they are serving our country has to be hard on the one who stays behind and try's to make life as normal as it can be for the children left behind and at Christmas! It must be doubly hard., ESP., for children of five and under because do they really understand why Mommy or daddy can not come home when it is Christmas, when it is their birthdays and how to explain this has to be the hardest job of the face of the planet. I watch the YouTube videos of men and women coming home after being away from their families for such a long time and I cry with each one. I ESP., cry when it is pets that see their owners, their mommies and daddies coming home. You will never tell me that animals do not have feelings, it is shown every time a soldier comes home and the excitement of the dogs and yes even some cats when they see their love ones come home, how they cry and cry and want to be held and loved! I praise every man and every woman who are brave enough to serve in the military! I am proud to say my own nephew was in the navy for 10 years. Now he has left and has a lovely wife and three lovely children. I see the change in my nephew, he grew up in the Navy. The last thing I want you to know I will read this story every Christmas, as I love to read FanFiction story and ESP., holiday themed ones! This story will become one that I will read every Christmas and maybe more in the year, when I have days that are not so good and I need just a pick me up! Your story is wonderful! |
