It’s been many years since you updated this fic, and it’s been many years since I have myself read it. I don’t even know if you still receive reviews from this site, but I wanted to say this anyway. Your story has touched me deeply. I think about it every once in a while, panicking when I can’t find it in my subscription box. Today I was reading time travel fic again, and I thought of your story. There’s something very about the characters. You made me love them in a way the movie never managed to. My heart felt tender whenever they showed vulnerability to each other and became even closer to being a family. I guess you could say I’m addicted to how your story makes me feel. You’re an amazing writer. If you happen to read this, I don’t have a facebook, but I do have a tumblr called sparewriter. dislike that place. not secure enough. so d is a grown up reliving his childhood. most people would live it up, have more fun. d great at causing chaos. maybe trying to change some things he'd make it worse, or get into messes he never lived through the first time. and the king must travel to control his huge empire. take the boys on a fabulous adventure in a different culture. or go to sea, they did in the graphic novel. lots of ways for you to play with them. later.

I deleted my fb account. Can't help you there. How about Das drags his new brothers out of the palace on some adventure, without telling their father. Bet they could get into lots of trouble that way. The two older princes have been protected from the real world all their lives. Bet it'd be all Das could do to keep them safe. Or vice versa. Hello, Jeckel-Hyde14. I've never given up hope you would update this story. It's wonderful. I'm not on FB. I cannot support you from there, but perhaps I can offer suggestions here?
Dastan seems to have made an initial relationship with Garsiv. The next chapter could focus on Dastan and Tus' relationship. Or their resistance to this relationship forced upon them by the king. Dastan is still a child himself, growing up. He's not perfect or mature yet. There is no reason that Dastan should kowtow to him the way everyone else probably fawns over the crown prince. Or resents him like Garsiv. A rough and tumble chapter might be the way to break the ice between the two.
I hope this helps. I hope there will be more of your wonderful tale.

Hey, Jeckel! Missed you! Couldn't find you on fb. Found same name for a woman in NZ, a mother, and some kid. Oh well. The best suggestion I can give is to look over previous reviews in this story. A lot of them have questions or ideas which I think might spark chapter ideas. Hope you can continue this one.

Hey, jekyll-hyde14, this story is really something special. If you're having writer's block, you could try reading the 2 books that were published in the Young Dastan series, Walls of Babylon and The Search for Cyra. They were written by Catherine Hapka and published in August 2010. They chronicle Dastan's life before the King found and adopted him. They're great, but the series was cancelled after 2 books. They're on Amazon.
