I really enjoyed this AU story.
As far as constructive criticism, the US school calendar must be very different than it is where you live because your timeline was a bit difficult to follow at times. School goes from Mid-Aug to late May(early June) or Early Sept-mid June. And summer break is 10 weeks June-Aug. Graduation is late May/early June and high school students find out college admissions info in March or April for the fall term (August/Sept).
The only other thing I found unusual was Blaine walking off when a man was hitting on Kurt in NY. Given how afraid he was of losing Kurt and how absolutely awful things went the last time he got jealous, I think Blaine would have been very confrontational with the man to protect Kurt from any potential repeat kidnapping. I don’t think he would have ever willingly walked away from Kurt like that.
I like how you interwove some of the canon events and kept the ND kids in character. And I loved Lily. 3
