This story is really good so far! I can't wait to see when L finally meets Light (or Raito, whatever you like to call him-I just like the sad irony of Light becoming Dark). I see a lot of stories like this, where the two are, say, crossed over, but they are usually unfinished and lacking detail or good grammar. It's honestly too bad because this story has me entranced at this moment. I love your other stories and I am a big fan of your writing! If this were to follow on with the same plot as Death Note however, I have a hypothesis;
Wouldn't Light probably win, seeing as L wouldn't have the advantage of Misa?
But back to the main two points of this comment-

Despite many other great L/Raito stories in the DN fandom, somehow I think you are my most favorite author. I love your writing style, the way you portray Raito and L, and how you tell the readers their stories. I really really hope that someday, you will continue the DN stories you have left unfinished.

Wow, this story was such an enjoying read.

I loved the part about Quillish and Roger discussing how "R" had been a mistake. Lately that's been one of my favorite things to think about. Just how messed up of a concept Wammy's House is. I loved the line where Roger pointed out how Quillish said "R is WHAT he is, and not WHO he is."

The characterization of L is spot on; I love how sporadic and "on the edge" I guess he is portrayed(like with the murder fantasies and such). All in all, even though it appears to be abandoned, I would still recommend this fic.

It is kind of weird to see L in such a normal environment and for him to still be, well, strange. I am interested in where this is going. While I don't see L turning into the mass murderer Kira, I suppose it could happen. Are you going to surprise me? Basically, I have no idea where this story is going and I am definitely interested! O_O Interesting flip of characters! (The end of the first chapter threw me in a loop. Chapter 3 was fun though. I can picture L combating boredom easily. o)

Ahh so L makes his appearance interesting. Now that we have the star players on stage I imagine that the pace is going to pick up. Never read a Kira!L fic before so I have to say I'm really excited for this. Loving this version of L already, he still maintains his eccentric personality while being different.

Oh I find it funny how you updated on 11/16/11 which happens to be my birth date. Unintentional birthday surprise was awesome, I'm very happy :3
