Omg love the story! Hoping you would find a way to make John alive again. I ship Pyro and Kitty ever since. Heartbreaking that he's dead.

AH, NO! I totally saw this coming, but actually reading it was sad. The descriptions in this chapter were so good. The part when Hank says he forgives his attackers is my favorite part! I thought you did a great job with Hank's character. Cecilia's connection with hank and the Anne Frank quote were amazing additions to the story. Despite the tragedy, I think this is one of my favorite chapters! :D

You ripped out my heart and stomped on it.

Oh, no. Is Kitty gonna catch feelings for Bobby? Oh boy.. lol.

Nice chapter! I gotta say that my favorite moment was the Kyro one. Haha. It was just sooo cute and fluffy! But the other moments pretty interesting as well! Like the Kitty/Rayne scene.

That was a good glimpse of a year of Kitty's life even though some glimpses were kinda sad (like the scene with Alone). I'm mentally preparing myself for what comes next! Again, no pressure! :D

I definitely applaud you for writing this. It seems so well thought out, and I like how you stay true to the characters. Having a co-writer seems so cool, and kudos to you and Revanite201 for doing tons of research 'cause it makes the story much more believable, and I could imagine this happening in the movies. :DDD

Kitty's parents are in Australia?! *cries forever* Oh my heart! Still hoping for a Kyro happy ending. Hehe.

And wow, Rayne was in the mansion this whole time?! Ah, well, at least now they know her location. Good. I wonder how they will pull off a rescue! I am excited to read about that. :)

That memorial service... it was beautiful from the setting to the eulogies. Xavier, Storm and Logan's speeches were lovely to read, and I think it you stayed true to their characters. :D
I absolutely love these three as parental figures. Including Logan (lol).

Well, it's about time we got more info about Rayne. I just hope she is safe. :D

I just really want them to be good friends again! It seems like they were a bit distant before the capturing...? Maybe it was just me... lol, but I really like them as close friends. :)

I didn't see that coming. I can't believe that happened to John. NOOOO! He was supposed to rescue his daughter! Ah, this is heart-breaking. :(

["Lockheed..." The small incantation had ignited a dragon] ajioesofeg! Ah! You had John name the dragon Lockheed. Very bittersweet.

And that scene when Kitty yanked out the soldiers' hearts was very intense. I was totally rooting for her. Hehe.

Ah, I don't know how I'll be able to read the rest! (I obviously am going to read the rest 'cause your fic is amazing!) Buuuut, this is getting so sad. :(

I was not expecting all this to go down. I was so happy in the beginning when I read that Kitty and John are engaged, but then... all of that... just had to happen... no wonder the chapter is called 'Monsters In the Dark'.

I was also not expecting that one guy from the food court to make an appearance, but I'm glad John beat him to a pulp. And speaking of John... he made his own fire?! NIIICE. (If I read that correctly...)

Dang, I can't believe the kidnapping. And that last scene! Very dark. I don't really know what to say about it. I'm still in shock... I'm just glad Rayne is not physically hurt.

Overall, I thought this chapter was very descriptive! Good job!

SOOO many cute moments here!

The scene where John talked to the baby just melted my heart! Too precious!
The shower was a nice surprise! And those gifts! [Keep Calm: My Parent's are X-Men] Genius!
And we see Jubilee again! Yay! I was wondering what happened to her.

Something I noticed: John said that Kitty was twenty years old... (when he stood up to Kitty's father), but the previous chapter, Moira says Kitty is twenty-one years old... so I'm a bit confused about Kitty's age...
Yeah... just a minor detail, but maybe you can clear this up for me? Hehe.
