Sad and beautiful. Words can't really do this justice - you have a stunning writing style and as soon as I read this I went back and read it over slowly. The longing between the two is tangible and although you sort of feel for Arwen since she hasn't done anything wrong, I feel most sorry for Legolas. The idea of only falling in love once, and that being with someone you can't have, is so sad that it's hard to bear reading about. Deepest congratulations - a beautiful story. Well done!

beautiful. absoultely heart-wrenching. i'm torn though- as to whether i want a sequel or not. it's beautiful just as it is- but i want to know what happens to Legolas! poor elf... its like a realy good production of Romeo & Juliet (not in plot though...) it makes your heart ache at the pain the characters are going through. you feel as if *you've* actually gone through what the characters just did. you are a wonderful writer. *worships* ~bry

Even if it seems to call for a sequel, it would be even more beautifully tragic if you leave it as such. I mean (I think I'm going to be flame by other readers here, but let me explain *didges some flying butcher knives and rotten tomatoes* LET ME EXPLAIN! :p )

*The shout echoes in the now silent room as other readers decide to wait for a moemnt with more ammo to throw*

The story is about the revelation of Aragorn and Legolas' feelings for each other almost too late, and the unique occasion they will have to share their love at least once. It ends in a sad way, but doing a sequel would destroy the magnificent and sad impact of the story.

But hey, I'm not the author... :p

If you wanna do a sequel, it is your story :-)

Just be awayre that it was a really great fanfic and I loved it :)
