Ok, first of all, I loved The Bed. The Bed is just literally one of my favorite parts of this. I want my own Bed.

Second of all, your SHIPS. Ah, McChapel, Kirk/Rand, Scaila, Spuhura, Chulu. Yes, I love those ships!

Third, BONES. SEXY BONES. SEXY BUTTER DONT MELT IN MY MOUTH BIG ASS HANDS MCCOY. DAMN. I WANTED TO FUCKING EAT HIM UP, LICK HIM, TASTE THE BOURBON ON HIS LIPS. YOU MADE HIM SO PERFECT AND BEAUTIFUL. HE WAS ALSO...SURPRISINGLY MELLOW! Normally people take it a step too far and make him grumpy as fuck, but I LOVED your playful Bones. He is just the right mixture of sexy, adorable, and gruff. I loved him. And Bones being covered in SWEAT. AND GRIME. DAMN IM SHAKING MY BONES ARE SHAAAAKKKINNGG

Fourth, your Chapel. Goddamn. She is literally me. Her having a teenage squealing moment, having a thing for Bones’s big, sexy hands, her Bed, everything. I loved her.

Fifth, the sex. Goddamn that was the hottest shit I’ve ever read. I’m normally quite a prude so I always skip the sex stuff, but I just couldn’t tear myself away from your fic. I read the entire thing nonstop, never put my phone to sleep.

Sixth, your dialogue. Your writing style. Everything. Fucking flawless. Your characterization. I just loved this so much, and thank you for sharing this lovely gem.

That sex scene... my lord Jesus in heaven I thought my face would burst into flames! Whoo mama... very nice story and loved how you incorporated the entire Star Trek universe into this AU... very well done! All I would suggest is putting visual breaks between the paragraphs when you're switching the character POV... would make for much easier reading. Thank you for writing!

This story is funny and fun and sweet and there are not enough words to convey how much I adore it. You can always tell how much an author not only loves but gets the characters in a fandom when an AU is this good.

I've only recently discovered the lovely pairing that is McChapel, but this story is definitely one of my favorites so far! And holy cow it's long! It kept me from being bored on a long-ish car trip today. :)
I am sometimes skeptical of AUs, but this one is fantastic and the plot was clearly very well thought-out. I love having Gaila around in fics, and The Bed was described so nicely that now I want one (though I'm pretty sure it would take up my whole room)! I didn't figure out the location of the jewels until McCoy and Chapel did. All of the romance was lovely and there was fluff and angst and smut and just... this was such a lovely fic. Favorited forever, and will probably re-read at some point. 3
