This was amazing! I've just gotten into the Sherlock fandom and I've found some badly done scenes between these two. I'm stunned that you managed to make it hot and have it do fluttery things to me, while still keeping them both in character. The dialog was wonderful and the internal Sherlock was exactly what I'd expect from him. (Loved how he kept needing more data!) I can't tell you how much I enjoyed this. Great job!

Oh sweet lawdy! I have the most insane glasses kink, but hardly anyone writes it! :P Every time I find one I can hardly control my excitement, and this did not disappoint. This is quite wonderfully written and VERY shmexy.

Oh oh oh! Delightful arc to this short story. I loved how it ended with Sherlock admitting that he wouldn't know what turns him on until it happens.

So now I want to read a backstory. Are they only friends with benefits? Occasional lovers? Beginning a love affair? I was curious because you mention that it has been a while since they have slept together, and it's usually John who initiates things, which implies a more casual sort of thing. Am I right?
