Ivystorm chapter 8 . 8/26/2019
Continue it pleaseeeeee. I love it and I can’t bear that there’s only one chapter left.
Ivystorm chapter 7 . 8/25/2019
My Starclan-forsaken word. Favourite chapter :) yay! Anyways, why the heck does Bluestar talk like: ifontknowwhattodoiwanttodiesodamnallofyoutraitorsillkillyou?
Ivystorm chapter 5 . 8/25/2019
This. Is. Underrated. :) love it.
Ivystorm chapter 4 . 8/25/2019
8-year-late imagined reader appears
Fact: this isn’t as bad as you think.
Ivystorm chapter 3 . 8/25/2019
Cinderpaw? Hmm! What a plot twist! She appeared! :P
Ivystorm chapter 2 . 8/25/2019
You really hate Bluestar.
Ivystorm chapter 1 . 8/25/2019
Did you know you got recommended on Tvtropes?! This has a good concept so far... hope it stays like that.
badgerfang chapter 9 . 3/27/2019
I know it’s been a long time since you’ve updated, but I’m curious to see where this story goes.
Scoddri chapter 8 . 10/29/2018
I like how Willowpelt and Patchpelt are rebelling, as siblings/(shiver)mates. They were around there long before Bluestar, it makes sense.
Scoddri chapter 7 . 10/29/2018
Mosskit. You... I feel pain at this, almost. More than the normal amount of empty, but even that is standard. Regardless, she could not remember her own kit? When willingly faced her own offspring? And what of Mapleshade's children, hmm? Are they dead TOO?
Scoddri chapter 5 . 10/29/2018
Oh stars. Teardown has fallen apart here, hasn't it. Maybe it's not the best idea to read this in a state of near-complete apathy. Regardless, I enjoy the differences between the corrupted and pure Starclan codes. Is... Is Greenflower's the pure one? I feel like it is.
Librarycat chapter 9 . 10/13/2018
Oh wow! I just finished reading this and i love it! The characters are great, its really well written and i want to know how its going to go!

I know that you haven't posted and update in five years, but I just thought you ought to know how good this is. :)
Munnamunna chapter 2 . 8/27/2016
Okay, wow. I HAVE to know what's causing Bluestar's behavior.
Munnamunna chapter 1 . 8/27/2016
Well that was creepy, and not just the last part I mean the whole thing. But in a good way!
Mariner12 chapter 9 . 7/26/2016
Hello there! I have just finished reading through your story, and I have to say that what you've written is pretty impressive for your first fanfiction. (I don't even want to remember my first fanfic) The concept is what really captured my attention. I haven't seen anything like it before and that's what makes this story interesting.

Anyways, critique time!

The first thing I noticed is that you're using single quotes ( ' ) instead of double quotes ( " ) when cats speak. Double quotes are for when someone speaks, and single quotes are for quotes within the double quotation marks.
EX: "As Uncle Beetlefur said, 'with great power comes great responsibility'. Remember that Spiderpaw," Maypelt meowed.
Simple grammar mistakes like this are easy to make, but they can turn off potential readers, so fixing them is important!
Also be careful of run on sentences. If a sentence gets too long readers can lose their interest and focus or become confused.

Another thing I noticed is the lack of spaces during the italicized thoughts of cats. I'm not really sure if this is actually a mistake on your part or if it's just the site being glitchy, because I think you mentioned something about trying to fix it. Anyways, it actually works well to convey feelings like panic or excitement, but be careful not to overuse it because then the story just becomes hard to read.

Also, I'd steer clear of using human swear words. They simply don't make very much sense in the warriors world - that's why there are replacements like fox-dung or mouse-brain. The warriors have a totally different culture and lifestyle than us humans, and so what is considered "offensive" would be different. I could list off why each of our swear words doesn't fit in their universe, but I don't think you'd want to read through that ramble.

Oh Bluestar. I like your interpretation of her trying to "fix" Starclan, but doing it all wrong because she's mentally unstable at the moment. I'm a little iffy on believing that she would resort to such drastic measures as "killing" (fading) cats to make her perfect Starclan, but then again I don't know what's all happened to her since she became leader of Starclan. Maybe she has a legitimate reason to have become so crazy. I would like to see her good side before the story is over, because I know it's there! Behind the insanity, she is a good cat.

As for Rainpaw, at the beginning of the story I didn't really like her. She was, quite frankly, a spoiled brat. She hurt other kits because they were "mean" to her. When she was moved to the apprentices den, some of that spoiled attitude did disappear, but you can still tell that she's not really a nice cat. She claws the other apprentices for getting on her nerves and she brags about her fighting abilities, still believing that she's special and so it's okay for her to do things like that. Her dreams however, do make me feel a bit sorry for her. She is getting tangled up in something much bigger than herself and even if she is a bit sociopathic you can't help feeling bad for her. She is just a kid after all.
I wouldn't really label this as "Break The Cutie", because to me Rainpaw isn't very cute or sweet. But that's okay, because not every character has to be cute and sweet and lovable. Her going through pain and fear is actually what's making her a likeable character. You're showing how she's weak and even if she can be spoiled and bratty she's still young and vulnerable, and has fears like the rest of us.

One last thing - keep writing! Don't let a lack of reviews discourage you. If you love to write, write regardless of how much attention you get. You should write for YOU, not for your reviews. Just because something gets a lot of attention doesn't mean it's good - and just because something doesn't get a lot of attention doesn't mean it's bad! I understand your thirst for feedback (every author has it) but be patient. It takes time to establish a reputation for good writing, but if you keep writing and working you'll find that eventually you'll have more people following your writing and more people reading your stories because you've earned it through your work.

That's all for now. Keep plowing on!
