What a bittersweet story! John Winchester straddles that line between unconventional and abusive parenting and you work that to maximum impact here. Poor Sammy!

I honestly enjoyed this story from start to finish... Excellent job!

This was great! It was really sad through the majority of the fic, but the ending completely made up for it. I do wish there was a bit more in the end - like Dean and John's thoughts when Sam showed up, and when they found him in the cellar, and what happened with the foster family - but what was there I loved. Great job!

Very good fic, though I'd like to see the aftermath of Sam leaving - however the last scene with the reuniting of the Winchester men was sweet. :)

Loved it! Very good plot and a nice look at The Winchesters pre - series.

I was just going to read a little bit and then go to bed but I ended up reading the whole thing and now it's 2 am, hehe. It's wonderful! Loved how you wrote the details, not too much but enough so that you could see everything clear in your mind. Keep on writing :)
