This is a really interesting take on what happened! I really like this, and I like how jack acted after cyberwoman, I feel like that's more like how he would act! Yeah this is really good :)

That was quite good! It's a bit darker Jack at times, and I'm not sure about a pre-Cyberwoman relationship, but you wrote it convincingly. I could see it here, in this context. I liked the combination of strength and vulnerability in Ianto at that point, and later. What was really powerful was the idea that Jack would be so furious about their relationship after finding out about Lisa. The scene in the cell was so dramatic, Jack's sense of betrayal palpable. Bringing them back together after the horrible events of Countrycide was a good idea as well. You showed Jack's feelings about what happened in the village to his team very well, and their need to comfort one another made perfect sense. This was well written, and for as dark as it was, I enjoyed it!

Sometimes there are no words to describe what I think about the story. It moved me, decidedly, in such a strange way. I think that I could have spend all night re-reading this story again and again, it's beautiful in this sad and twisted, angry, angsty way. Beautiful and tragic, these two man too damaged to be good, but too good to be hailed monsters, they're confused and tired and life isn't merciful, but there's also hope, strong even though so distant...

Interesting take on their relationship. I liked the fact that it wasn't so simple and happy as some people like to make it. You actually got Jack mostly in character, too (or at least less two dimensional than in most stories).

Yes, yes, YES! Finally a story where Jack confronts Ianto about the (not necessarily canon) sexual relationship they had before the incident! I had given up on that quite a while ago, but I found your story and BAM my problem was solved. And it was done so wonderfully. It was incredibly realistic and I think this could have quite easily slipped into canon. Jack and Ianto being too proud to really heal their friendship is a nice touch because it depicts their personalities very well. I've read so many fictions where Jack conforts Ianto about Lisa and/or the cannibals and that's it with zero tension etc. etc. But yours was different, and wonderfully fresh. Thank you for making me one very happy person.

Great, intense story. I really enjoy Jack/Ianto stories that fully acknowledge Ianto and Lisa and all that it brought. This does that, and more. Great work.

This is definitely one of my favorites... the whole story is so possible... Had to read it slowly over the last couple of days... Any chance you could explore Ianto's time looking after Lisa? His comment that at times he knew something wasn't quite right... sort of feels like a story of its own. Anyway... this story covered two of my favorite Ianto episodes..
