I actually read this a few months ago but I keep meaning to tell you that ever since reading this, I've thought of it each time I'm on an airplane! ; Probably not the best thing to think about on a flight but oh well. I'll just have to keep my fingers crossed that some hidden hanyou takes pity on me lol!

Hn. I am not usually a fan of such drastic departure from typical canon circumstances, but this story worked out pretty well. It was very creative and the thought you put into the details of soul-bonding were quite intriguing. I agree it makes sense that if the two species are genetically compatible enough to cross-breed then it stands to reason that a human with reiki could bond spiritually with a hanyou, but it isn't the same for a pure youkai. You even managed to include Kikyou, Shippou and even Koga in a believable fashion. Great stuff, once again.

Congratulations on your writing, it's really good. The storyline is unusual and captivating, as well as funny and witty (dialogues). Love the way you depict the characters. And especially the vision of a rumpled looking Sesshomaru.
BTW it's steamy enough...

I loved this. I lost interest in IY series as InuKag seemed more like siblings and Inu seemed a tad too immature and Kag seemed too mature by comparison. So I’ve been a huge fan of SessKag FFs and actually read this FF thinking it was a SessKag story. Yours is the first InuKag FF I liked. I really appreciated the maturity these two had (especially with Inu being able to discern when and how to hold some thoughts/speech back), and enjoyed their banter. You really thought through everything and I loved how it all came together to their life on the island, real life survival details, as well as thinking out a plausible story for their survival, and details of Kag’s secret clinic. When I began reading this, while intrigued and impressed, I honestly still felt a SessKag would be better than pairing InuKag for this story, but by the time I finished it, though a SessKag story would’ve also been great, I thought this was great as-is and really did end up loving it. I went to check out your other works but they’re all InuKag, and as much as I loved this, I’m not an InuKag fan so will pass. I loved the way you wrapped up everything giving us a glimpse of their future in the end, but I also would’ve loved to see a oneshot of InuKag in their married life…and also with Sesshomaru not only grudgingly accepting Kagome as pack but liking her too. Thanks for sharing this wonderful piece with us!

I read this a while ago on MediaMiner and just came to say that this story (and all of your other stories) deserve soooo many more reviews because you are a writing GENIUS. Especially this one - the development was paced BEAUTIFULLY and it was so real. Please keep writing stories, I'm a lifelong fan!
