I'm glad it had a happy ending! Gah! Stubborn Katara is the best Katara though, but it broke my heart to see how much Zuko had changed for her. Their romance felt so real in that way and I can only imagine the guilt Katara felt as she was secretly happy his home was being overtaken.

This was written SO well, as I'm sure you know, too. Even at 1:30 in the morning, the language managed to be relaxing, though the events and emotions were quite the opposite.

Also the setting, like... I know you explained it, but it is so amazing how you came up with a perfect history setting for them. It really brought out the Zutara. I'll stop gushing now.

This was so beautiful, oh my gosh. I'll definitely read this over and over again when I have the time, when katara was leaving zuko I was practically screaming in my head that 'you can't do this to me'. This was perfect, there was all the elements of a fic that I love about. So glad that they finally got together in the end, I'm just so happy and content. Nice job!

When Zuko was yelling at Katara about his losses as a result of the war, I was seriously expecting him to say "You know nothing, Katara Snow"...I seriously need to stop seeing Game of Thrones in everything I watch and/or read...

This is so well done. I can seriously appreciate the attention to detail and all the research you must have done for this story. Also, the characters - even given the changes to fit the time period, they are still distinctly themselves, and they work so well.
