I do hope that you are only taking a break for the holiday, I'll be sad if not. I really like the pairing of Naruto and Yugito, and I like that way you (seem) to be developing it. This story is one of the more complex I have seen, in general. I was hooked from the start and hope to be seeing more updates for this story in particular. I haven't read any of your other stories but I plan to do so, riiiiiight now...

This was neat but i'll probably end up dropping it. Despite sounding really cool at first Naruto ended up being the same naive, brash, idiot that made me stop watching/reading the anime/manga in the first place. Then there's the fact that I have no idea what the plot is, besides that he's trying to collect the bijuu, and for some reason wants to meet Sasuke. I just wanted to read a Naru/Yugito fic, but the way you described their relationship was lame. To me it sounds like he's just using her. Meh. Anyways, goodluck with your fic.

Hm, I do like it. It is extremely different from your other stories, and Crimson Dawn is still my favorite. Of course, this Naruto is definitely insane. He's also much weaker than any of your other characters... so far he's been beaten in every fight, and the other jinchūriki seem to be far superior to him in every way, even though he actually seems to have trained a little... did this more intelligent (but crazy) Naruto not discover the secrets of Kage Bunshin?

Actually, its more the fact that he's getting all the jinchūriki under his control but is really weak compared to them that's bothering me. Also, this Naruto has no Naruto-ish qualities; he's forcing seals on people like Orochimaru, he's making someone sexually frustrated for his own desires, he cannot inspire anyone at all without coming off as a genocidal maniac, and generally going in the direction of a villain... albeit one far weaker and far less idealistic than any other major villain already present in the story.

Okay, I guess I've complained enough. Honestly, it's such a radical change in style that I had trouble understanding where it was going. Your writing is still, or rather it has improved from it's already excellent state. Come to think of it, there is a disparity in all your stories... SMRKG was an extremely powerful Naruto, Crimson Dawn was a more intelligent than powerful Naruto who could be beaten but didn't go down easily. However, MindPlay's Naruto is three years older than those two, and actually has much more motivation to be stronger... and yet comes off much weaker.

Or maybe I'm not seeing something...

Well, I'm still going to continue reading it, if nothing else because I do love your writing... and trust that you do have something going on that will make me regret it if I stop here.

But it's going to be another month before I find out... oh well. :P

This has been interesting so far

Oh boy here we go another "Dark" Naruto fic. I've seen these from so many authors I could already tell how this story is going to go. first he tells everybody his goals to free the Jinchuriki then somehow down the way he realizes that he still cares for Konoha even if they treated him worse than horse shit and then he comes back and saves them from Orochimaru and Akatsuki and lives happilly ever after.

First of all I dont whether you know this or not but Naruto's goals to free the nine Jinchuriki from their villages makes him a Revolutionary. By going out and freeing the Jinchuriki from their respective villages makes him a revolutionary.

This is where you are going wrong if he's going to be a revolutionary he cannot be a bleeding heart hero like he is in canon which is what you are trying to do now. His goal is to free the Jinchuriki then what does that have to do with Sasuke and Orochimaru?

Not only are you contradicting your story but you start to confuse your readers and looking at the comments below some are already connfused.

I suggest you rewrite this chapter.

Mayn this naruto is even more of a pussy than the canon one yo, was that intentional, I mean everytime he acts like he has learned his lesson and than he repeats the same mistake all over again, what the hell yo, no one is that dum, not even naruto. I can't tell what you're trying to do here, it almost seems like this is a naruto bashing fic.

What the fuck is Naruto playing at? I don't understand him and his reasons at all. He tried playing cool like Sasuke but all it did is to show he's blowing hot air. Why does he still care about Sasuke anyway? He's really weak and incompetent to get captured so easily.
