I laughed soooooo much at this last bit. Finn lecturing Mater never seems to get old.

This story was nice to read, and I can completely imagine Finn making the threat he made. If she was just his partner and not his daughter he probably would've gone with a more violent variation of the "you break her heart I'll break your face" talk.

Holley and Mater haven't told anyone else? Interesting... Though I suppose they wouldn't want that info common knowldge as any baddies Holley and Finn may face could use it against them... Very cute ending! :)

Ahhh, Finn is so great in this. I like how you manage to keep his normal cool aura but still show his emotions.

Aw, I'm so glad they made up! This really was a great, cute, awesome, and amazing story! An epoluge would be sweet... Maybe Finn becoming a grandpa? ;)

Yeah! This is such an awesome story and I love the father-daughter moments in this chapter with Finn and Holley! And I think that you should add an epilouge with maybe a date scene with Mater and Holley and Finn warning (threatening) Mater what might happen to him if he hurts Holley, just saying XD

At first, I didn't know what to make of the idea of Finn as Holley's father but now I love this! I think you did an incredible job of bringing this idea to life. Holley and Finn are very in-character and I could honestly see this happening. I say epilogue! Although, if you decide not to- this last chapter substitutes as a great ending also. :)

I really, really like this one. you've alluded a few times to Holley going to Mater for advice and wanting to see a scene where she did that has been in the back of my mind because of that. And they were talking about Finn FINALLY spilling the beans, too! :D

Wow, Holley certainly is angry 0_o I can only imagine the Britsh phrases and slang she must have been using to confuse Mater that much... :P It would figure that Finn would wait until he thought they were going to die to tell her. Yeesh Finn...

This is a nice flipside to the story; I can see Mater being good to talk to, even if he doesn't always know what to say.

YES! You added more! I love how this part is from Holley's perspective. Very interesting that she wanted to be his partner for a very long time. Hopefully she will find out about the picture of the lavender jag very soon... I can't wait to see her reaction if you do decide to write that!
