Binged this over two days and it was great! Funnily enough, though Zutara is one of my faves ships of all time, I was honestly more captivated by Lu Ten/June and then Azula/Hanzo. Well done!

I just love the interesting changes you brought to the story, which was believable and a blast to read. And sure, most of the conflicts was purely political, but you wrote it in such a tense, interesting way where again, it seemed very realistic for this universe, but wasn't mind numbing in the same time.

Very well done, and I may use this as inspiration in the future for a potential Avatar story.

What a story! I picked this up because it’s listed under Zutara, and as much as I enjoyed the Zutaran goodness, what made this a standout was the complexity of the story within the Fire Nation family. Lu Ten was brilliant, and his relationships with June and Azula were fabulous. I appreciated Ursa as a force to be reckoned with, and I loved the delicate way that you handled Azula coming into her own with Hanzo’s encouragement. Also: reintroducing dragons was just fabulous. Thank you so much for a thoroughly enjoyable tale of political intrigue!

Wow. :D I think this might be one of my most favorite fanfictions ever. All of the relationships are so interesting. The political intrigue was really well thought out and had me on the edge of my seat. I absolutely ADORE Azula and Hanzo and I'm just forever going to have them as a pairing and my head. Honestly, this felt like a story of multiple individuals (there was no single MAIN character) each with their own goals and just... I binged it today in 8 hours and not once did I feel like stopping.

Fuck, you are incredible. I'd love to to know how to write as you do. The plot is great, the OC is great (another version of Zuko, but still, well done), Lu Ten and June were something I didn't care at all for, and now I love them. Just great.
