How terribly sad for Dean. I get the feeling that this isn't a one time kind of reprimand from John. Dean's body language is quite telling. Sweet little Sammy giving Dean the love and devotion he so wants from his Dad, too. Thanks for sharing a wonderful one shot!

Touching little insight into what makes up that web of "tangled up,

co-dependent crazy relationship" these brothers have.

I have never liked John from the start because of the scarse attention he paid to Sam and Dean, always hell-bent on his own personal vendetta.

Not sure what's not to like about this tidbit. Sometimes the series makes the brothers' relationship a little one-sided; Dean doing all the giving, Sam all the taking. I just can't see that being the case.

This makes a beautiful example of it. -
