This is phenomenal. I read the story twice just out of pure adoration. It really is remarkable, and I'm surprised by your talent in writing, and I'm really grateful towards your plot lines. They're such. A refreshing read, and I love them. This one particularly, was amazing, from the characterization of Rose as an heiress and the Doctor as an assassin trying to correct his mistakes (with the only way he knows how). I loved the desperation in the situations, and it was well written. Especially the scene in the end, with the Doctor being unable to save Rose and the whole confession-but-not and the saving-stab. Just. Genius. And the end is lovely. Thank you for this, it was great :)
It was so great that (although its a one shot) I was hoping you could give a thought to writing a sequel. The positions are just so interesting and I'd love to see where you take them. This idea just has so much potential, too, so I hope you'll consider it.

This is definitely one of my favorite fanfics I’ve read in a while. Very in-character and funny while being a genuine AU story. Loved it!

Oh my goodness, that was exciting! My heart actually skipped a beat when the Doctor stabbed her! I thought 'oh no why Doctor?' silly me for doubting him. Wow that was really and truly brilliant.

An excellent story, and a superb start to a series of alternate universe stories..? 10 out of 10 stars.

This is seriously great! It's so refreshing to read an AU and my goodness, this is a good one! I wish I could keep reading it, but I have to admit that the ending was perfectly timed. Any longer and the plot runs the risk of dragging.

And I adore the way you've portrayed the Doctor here. Even though he's completely outside of everything we expect from the Doctor, he's still so completely in character. It's insane and brilliant and it totally works. Love it. Great job.

I know that I'm reviewing this today, but this is actually my second time reading this, and it's still just as great. I love how the characters are exactly the same as in canon despite it being an AU.

Surely I'm not the first person to ask, but will there be a sequel? The ending just seems to suggest there will be, what with the 'Catch me if you can' and the line about the Doctor never being able to turn down a challenge.
