At least Jecht isn't such an horrible dad and Auron seems to be overprotected, thought they both have a point.

There's no way Brother will crash the ship with his sister and father aboard. As much as he hates Tidus, he loves his family more. Thought he probably wouldn't like it when Tidus and Yuna start to date.

How come that every FFX story I start I read catches my attention.

So Wakka means that Yuna won't survive a day in Zanarkand. If Lulu doesn't know Tidus or Jecht what makes him think that Yuna know? The only thing she'll know is how to catch Tidus' attention unconsciously. XD

Oh, this one shows a lot of promise! Finally, I found a recent story for FFX that isn't infested with OCs when all I want is the canon cast. I do hope you plan to continue this.

I've got a few stories in mind for FFX myself- well, maybe more than a few _ -but I'm working on a different category right now.

The fic looks great; is Tidus going to be related to Shuyin somehow? Or is he just Tidus's double everyone is supposed to have somewhere in the world? Only Jecht bothers me. But then, I'm big on father/son fluff, and tend to be entirely too focused on their relationship (Especially after Dissidia Duodecim).

There needs to be more of this. Really soon, I hope.

You've done such an amazing job keeping everyone's personalities intact. My biggest fear with any AU stories is always that the author loses sight of the characters in favor of the changes in the world. Thankfully, that's soooo not the case here.

I'll put in a special note about just how perfect (and frankly kinda adorable) Tidus and Auron's relationship is. It's spot on from the game and was always one of my (many) favorite things about FFX.

I really hope this gets continued (crosses fingers).

Oh, I LOVE smirking Auron. He's brilliant. It's just like their relationship in the game, where Auron is constantly putting Tidus down with snarky little one-liners and then suddenly shows a surprising window of humanity which throws Tidus completely off his guard.

Rikku, Brother, Buddy and Cid make a hilarious little outfit. Cid especially. He seems like one of those people who's default look is an exasperated scowl.

Yuna's "But I do not want to watch them alone" was heartbreaking.

So underneath all Tidus' bravado he has a little bit of human intuition, with the picture of Yuna. I can't wait to see how he reads her in person.

Even more interesting, Yuna finds him familiar... a lost childhood meeting, perhaps? Can't wait to find out!

I loved Tidus' musings about filling his own glass trophy case one day even as he's plagued with memories of his father's censure... there was something so sad about that. And so Jecht has abandoned him to Auron - I wonder if there's any redemption for him?

Anyway, not so good for Tidus but good for me since... I love gruff, fatherly Auron! Looks like he will be around in this form, atleast a little, throughout this fic! Colour me happy.

I love how you've captured the lullaby beauty of Besaid here too. Does this mean we won't see much of Lulu and Wakka if Yuna will leave them behind?

Oh, this is exactly the kind of writing that I love, quiet and reflective and melancholic - Yuna's perspective was particularly moving when she remembered her father's funeral. It's a clear mood change when Rikku comes on the scene though, usually I warm to the other FFX characters more but I think I actually enjoyed her passage the most in this first chapter - especially Cid's exasperation with her which was very amusing with Brother in the mix as well. The poor man!

Loved the Lenne interlude too!

I cant wait for the next chapter. Will tidus flirt with yuna and how will she react to tidus's straightforwardness?

I liked Tidus and Yuna's meeting and also Tidus's assessment of Yuna's photo that Rikku had.

Although you said it was inspired by On Your Shore, I think you've done a good job of creating your own story, as I can't really see any parts that you've taken from the aforementioned story (I like On Your Shore, too)

Hope more chapters are soon to come, it's always fun reading the Tuna interaction, especially when they're getting to know each other.

Hooray! I have been eagerly awaiting this update! You are a fabulous writer, you paint the most vivid pictures. I am excited for them to really talk to one another :) I shall patiently await the next update as something wonderful as this cannot be rushed. :3

Haha. I think I would like to see how this story goes from here. "On Your Shore" is on my favorites list too, it's well written and I really like the cute, classic romeo and juliet story with Tidus and Yuna. It just fits so well with them. Too bad the author never finished the story. I hope when you say that it inspires you, you don't do the same lol.
