I'm happy to see a change in attitude in the younger generation. It's certainly possible for the children to shrug off the hostile feeling felt by their parents which makes this story a breath of fresh air. Please keep it coming as I'm very interesting in how these friendships play out.

I love it! Please update soon. I am really taken by this new approach! But won't the choice be a choice too? Harry chose Gryffindor because he didn't want to be evil. Draco chose Slytherin most likely because he couldn't imagine being in any other house. Hermione probably chose Gryffindor because she probably didn't want to be known just for her intelligence. And the entire Weasely family chose Gryffindor probably because they couldn't imagine being an outcast in their own family! I am seriously waiting for more! Please update soon!

If asked to guess the house of Rose, Albus, and Scorpius I'd agree with Dominique. They are in Ravenclaw.

I think there is evidence that supports the "Expectation Theory" in the books. Harry chose Gryffindor over Slytherin based on the snippets of information he had heard from Hagrid. Ron (and also Ginny) certainly couldn't imagine being in any other house than all the rest of the Weasley family whereas Draco pleaded to be placed in Slytherin because, otherwise, he would be in serious trouble at home. The choice for Hermione was probably between "nerd" and "civil rights activist", and she chose the latter.

A mathematical approach to the Sorting – that's a refreshing idea. And the best was how Fred capitalised on it. lol

This story is quite light-hearted and fun. I like the characterization and the tone a lot. The dialogue and banter is funny and cute and the internal thoughts are great. If I have one criticism, its that its a little jarring when you switch POVs mid-scene (Rose's thoughts, then Malfoy's thoughts). Otherwise, a really fun and enjoying story! Thanks for sharing :)

I love this story! The theories are all really interesting and seem mathematically sound, and Lily Luna as a Slytherin is brilliant! I also really liked how Scorpius and Rose interact-I do ship Scorose, after all.
